The Traveller

The mysterious stranger is a Victorian scientist, who was experimenting with time travel to find the opportunities to discover how cultures once lived, a capability that only archaeologists could only dream of.

In 1891, in Victorian London, the Traveller successfully constructed a working time machine, through that of a wristmounted device, also working as a teleporter. The Traveller was successful on travelling back and forward through time. As he was walking to the Institute of Science to show the Time Teleporter to his colleagues, he was confronted with three thugs, trying to mug him. During the fight, the Traveller accidentally activated his Time Teleporter. He set the present time, but a location beyond the stars, landing on a planet called Sandandor. After exploring, he realised he was on another world, and tried to get back to Earth. However, the distance that the teleporter took the Traveller from Earth to Sandandor, has fried the workings of his machine, and acquired one key component - mercury, which is only in the Abandoned City.

The Traveller is a dark, mysterious man, who can show vicious contempt for those who wrong him, and his motives are never known, whether it be for the greater good, or for the worse.

Aside from the Time Teleporter, which is now useless, The Traveller has a walking stick, which comes in handy for self defence, a pocket watch on a chain, and a small pocket revolver, which he uses on rare occasions, and last, but certianly not least, a flask of whiskey.

The Traveller had a brief stint in the British Army, during the Anglo-Afghan War. The Traveller is extremely resourceful and highly intelligent. The Traveller has fine eyesight, and a greater sense of smell, and is very efficient in Baritsu.

Nothing else is known of the Traveller, but more will be revealed soon...

The appearance of The Traveller is a that of a scruff, grey trousers, brown boots, a green coat, silk waistcoat, white frilly shirt, and a silk light green necktie.
